Hot Tub Time Machine

John Gruber:

I’ve seen no celebratory tweets or announcements from European Commission officials celebrating the availability of Hot Tub. Just crickets chirping. When it comes to native iOS porn apps, the EU now has an unequivocal advantage over not just the United States but the rest of the world. You’d think they’d want to celebrate the achievement.

Aaron Sorkin (in a manner of speaking):

John van Dyke: May I ask you a question, sir?

President Josiah Bartlet: Of course.

van Dyke: If our children can buy pornography on any street corner for $5, isn't that too high a price to pay for free speech?

President Bartlet: No.

van Dyke: Really?

President Bartlet: On the other hand, I do think that $5 is too high a price to pay for pornography.
